Standards and safety
The SM steel chain meets the requirements of DIN 5685, a standard that guarantees material quality and load-bearing capacity. This makes the chain suitable for safety-relevant applications.
Two variants - the right solution for every application
Choose from two chain sizes with tested load capacity:
6 mm link thickness with link dimension 41 ×12 mm, bundle length 30m, test load 250 daN, tensile load 1,250 daN
8 mm link thickness with link size 52 × 15mm, bundle length 10m, test load 440 daN, tensile load 2,200 daN
Both variants are MNK quality chains. Each one is tested by the metre and meets the highest safety standards. For safety-relevant applications, we recommend planning in an additional safety reserve.
